The Nanofabrication Facility in 4D LABS includes a Class 100 Clean Room, as well as associated fabrication and analysis equipment. As Facility Manager you would be responsible for planning the on-going operation and maintenance of the Nanofabrication Facility and seeing that these plans are achieved successfully within the given deadlines. You would lead our staff of engineers and technicians to deliver high quality and comprehensive services in materials fabrication and analysis. You need to have excellent management skills to coordinate with the entire staff and also with our clients. In addition, you would assist with training graduate students and other researchers, expanding the Facility?s user base (particularly among local companies), establishing contracts with clients, and contributing to associated research activities.

Requirements:
Applicants for the position of Facility Manager should have a relevant degree or experience in an engineering or science discipline and experience with experimental and analytical techniques. The successful candidate will need to be able to learn, understand, and use a broad array of equipment related to materials fabrication and characterization. Applicants require at least 3 - 4 years of management experience. The ideal person will have the technical qualifications, management and communication skills necessary to ensure that the facility meets the needs of its diverse user base.
