The successful candidate will play a key role in the development of a wireless fully-implantable neuroprobe microsystem. The specific activities will involve:
* Working with neurosurgeons/neurobiologists t
* conduct animal studies
* Experimental validation of neuroprobes for acute and chronic tissue reaction
* Conducting electrophysiology recordings both in-vitr
* and in-vivo
Requirements:
* PhD degree in Biomedical Engineering or relevant field
* Knowledge of neurobiology and neuroanatomy
* Neural cell culture experience is preferred
* Understanding of bioelectricity and fundamentals of neuroelectronic interfaces
* Capability t
* work in a highly interdisciplinary team of researchers.
* Excellent communications skills in oral as well as technical writing
* Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork with strong self-motivation
